This review is from: Apple iPhone 4G 16GB Quadband World GSM Phone (Manufacturer Unlocked) By amazon.com

I just bought this product right here on Amazon , unlocked iphone 4. I unwrapped it , plugged in itunes and stuck in my micro sim and the product worked great. I used facetime for the first time tonight and it was obvious that this Apple product is lightyears ahead of any Phone or OS I have used on any other smartphone. I have no dropped calls and absolutely not even one single problem. I will admit that it seems the battery reduces at about the rate of any laptop (Mac of course) when using power hungry apps but apart from that I am so happy I bought this phone, if only everything could be this simple. Well done Apple, well done.

PROS:
Great user interface. Integrates all your business apps…and it actually has OFFICE installed on the dang phone. You don’t have to buy an external app to read an office document (like you do on the iphone and droid…see comment about “integration” above). Relatively pretty (Chrissy Evert versus Anna Kournikova. One is hot. One one Wimbledon and is relatively pretty. who do you choose?)

Cons:

No Angry Birds (I’m kidding…this isn’t really a con…but, it is, actually true, and is a metaphor for the real issue): Not a ton of apps…YET. Keep in mind…MS is behind the iPhone and app-loadable smart-phone curve by a full year. I wouldn’t worry about that, though…because most developers are catching up, and are now developing apps (like game makers do for the the XBox, PS3, and Wii) for the major platforms simultaneously, and going back and redesigning the apps that they already did for the Droid and iPhone to work with the Windows 7 Phone.

There are many benefits of using SIM-Only contract deals. Almost all the major network operators like O2 Simplicity, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange and Virgin Mobile offers this contract deal. While the standard mobile contracts offer you both handset and SIM cards, the SIM-Only deals just give you the SIM cards which you can insert in your present handset. This way you can save the cost of buying a handset. The operators also save a lot by this.

Only 30-day contract with SIM Only deals.
You can avail only 30 days contract with the SIM-Only deals. In not standard network deals will you be offered such a lucrative contract. All major mobile network operators provide with various 30 day contract deals on their SIM card only plans. This gives you the flexibility to keep your contract or move on to a different plan after the completion of 30 days. All yu need to do to terminate your contract is give a 30 day notice period. You can also change between various 30 days SIM-Only contract deals whenever you wish.

Call any network any time.
Most of the standard mobile network users worry about paying huge bills at the end of each month. Many UK customers complained of huge bills which resulted due to frequent calls to numbers of different networks. The standard connections offer free talk time and discounts only while calling landlines. Therefore, the standard network users need to restrict their calls to those using their network or to other landline users. This problem is not there in the SIM-Only contract deals. In the SIM Only deals you will have to pay the same fixed mount every month without worrying about calling you friends with different network.

No topping up necessary with SIM Only contract deals.
Many standard users choose monthly contracts or go for prepaid connections so that thy can have some control over the huge bills that result at the end of each month. When they need balance they go for topping up. But, for the SIM-Only tariffs you can pay the same amount every month and do not worry about topping up. Here, you can even cancel the contract whenever you wish.

Flexibility of SIM Only deals.
The contracts in a standard network extend up to 12 or 18 months and even more. Therefore, if a user is not happy with the tariff he can not change to another network or plan until his term of 12 or 18 months end. But, in case of a SIM-Only contract deals the contract is for a much shorter period. Generally it is of only a month. So, there is more flexibility of changing from one network to the other or even terminate the deal after a month or so.

Who offers SIM Only deals?
SIM Only contract deals are provided by almost all the major mobile network operators including Vodafone SIM Only, Virgin Mobile SIM Only, T-Mobile Solo, Orange SIM Only and O2 Simplicity. Only three Mobile are not providing SIM Only deals.
